The ferrite industry has been affected by an extreme shortage of product in 2010. This is primarily due to an increase in ferrite consumption in Asia. We have seen ferrite manufacturers either discontinue their 15K permeability ferrite or highly restrict the manufacturing of this extreme material. (15K perm material is very difficult to make and keep within spec) Even the 10K permeability material is seeing lead times of 30 weeks and longer.
MH&W International is offering a solution to the problems of high perm ferrite and the shortage of high perm ferrite with our Nanocrystalline toroidal cores for common mode chokes. There are significant advantages of Nanocrystalline over 15K & 10K perm material.

Nanocrystalline is available with Permeabilities of 1,000 to 90,000.
MH&W keeps stock of some of the more common sizes of Nanocrystalline toroids. Here is a table of the most prevalent Nanocrystalline toroids.
