Large Custom Core Assemblies from MH&W

MH&W is known for precision gapping, grinding and core modifications of our various ferrite core lines. We have now expanded our capabilities to offer Large Custom Core Assemblies for ferrite and powder cores.

More applications require larger cores which go beyond the core manufacturers’ pressing capabilities. MH&W International, recognizing a need for specialized assembly services has developed processes enabling us to offer large U-, E- and I- core assemblies. These large core assemblies are available in both ferrite and powder cores.

Typical applications are:

  • Automotive reactors and boost inductors in HEV and EV
  • Commercial welding units
  • Renewable energy – solar and wind energy
